पंजाबी सिंगर राजवीर जवंदा की हालत में अभी भी कोई सुधार नहीं

Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda remains in critical condition at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, six days after a severe bike accident in Haryana’s Pinjore. He is still on ventilator support and under the close watch of a team of critical care and neuroscience specialists.

According to doctors, there has been no significant improvement in his neurological condition. He has not yet spoken since the accident. Prayers for his recovery are being held continuously at gurdwaras.

The medical bulletin details a challenging recovery:

  • Sept 27: Admitted with severe head and spinal injuries, he was put on advanced life support after suffering cardiac arrest.
  • Sept 28-29: He remained on ventilator support with no major improvement, though doctors noted a slight stabilization.
  • Sept 30: An MRI revealed deep injuries to his neck and back, causing weakness in his limbs. Doctors indicated he might require long-term ventilator use due to low oxygen levels.
  • Oct 1: His neurological condition is still serious, with no major improvement noted.

The accident occurred on the Pinjore-Nalagarh road when Jawanda’s bike collided with a jeep while he was allegedly trying to avoid two bulls fighting on the road. He was initially treated at a local hospital before being referred twice due to the gravity of his injuries, finally arriving at Fortis.

Prominent figures, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and former MP Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra, have visited the hospital to check on his condition and offer support to the family. Many fellow artists and well-wishers continue to visit, though his health shows little sign of a turnaround.
